The BRC sales department focused its 2009 efforts on showcasing the Breckenridge destination to meeting industry professionals from around the globe.

The readers of Successful Meetings Magazine recognized these efforts early in the year by honoring the BRC and Beaver Run Resort

excellence. The BRC was also honored with a Best of 2009 award from Colorado Meetings + Events Magazine. Breckenridge defeated competitive destinations such as Aspen and Vail to claim these honors.

The BRC kept Breckenridge at the forefront of meeting destinations with exhibits at the Destination Colorado Front Range Trade Show in Denver, through a partnership with Destination Colorado members at the Meeting Planners International Conference in Utah, as well as the Holiday Showcase in Chicago.

Additionally, the BRC teamed with local company Breckenridge Grand Vacations to enhance the destination’s presence at more than 10 ski shows throughout the U.S. and U.K., enabling the organization to exhibit at twice as many ski consumer shows as in previous years.

Published every three years, the 2009 BRC Meeting + Wedding Planner Guide debuted in November and provides an extensive overview of the destination’s lodging, convention and event space options for meeting industry professionals.
