The BRC accounting department focused its 2009 efforts on enhancing the organization’s bookkeeping processes.


The department refined the BRC’s budget by moving the previous July 1 fiscal


year to coincide with the Town of


Breckenridge calendar-year budget. This modification, which included the creation of a new accounting system for the BRC and Central Reservations, allowed for the seamless generation of BRC marketing spend and revenue reports.


The BRC experienced a 15% overall increase in revenues, due in part to $250,000 in stimulus funds from the Town of Breckenridge.


A 2009 audit is scheduled for May 17, 2010.
