What are dreams?
We have had at the stables a year of amazing opportunities.
It is said that good things happen to those that wait ... I rode with two of my home bred horses for a German film company along a beach into, yes ... the sunset.
Monty Roberts told me last November that he had taken the wooden apple I gave him that my husband had turned for him 17 years ago back to the USA and he has had it on his desk there ever since!!
Then I was given the opportunity to ride his demo horse owned by the Mendip Stud in May.
On January 5 I bred my first coloured filly foal out of Zeus my Arab Stallion.
On Christmas Eve I bought back the first pure Arab mare.
Recently we helped seven partially sighted and blind teenagers ride our horses and they all loved it.
I can go on, but dreams are made true by hard work and passion. Horses make things happen and keep one still really committed to living life.
Carpe Dieum, seize the day ride this summer and feel the adrenalin rush and remember how you felt as a child riding or give your child that great feeling of being at one with another living, breathing being.
