One of Barba’s primary responsibilities is the preparation and distribution of Mayor and Council packets. The Chandler City Council is updated with the day-to-day operations of the City through memos and notices from every City department. Barba assembles and organizes the information as a key way

the Council is informed with background and facts to make decisions that affect taxpayers and the City. “Preparing the Council packets gives me a sense of accomplishment at the end of the City Council meeting cycle,”’ she explain. “Then, I do it all over again for the next meeting.”

When Barba is at home, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, with one more on the way. She also fi nds time to relax by getting pedicures and shopping with her mother. And one of these days, that beach vacation just might be hers!
