Imagine a Spectacle A spectacle, a concert, an exhibition, a dance performance, a debate and a series of workshops: Imagine a Spectacle is a project combining performance and visual arts to take a fresh look at the world we live in, its sustainability and the role of the creative artist, the arts and the audience. Artists and performers will be leading a series of experimental workshops at the University of Creative Arts’ Herbert Read Gallery culminating in a closing spectacle at Theatre Royal Margate on the evening of

Rembrandt to Hockney A selection from Canterbury’s significant print collections, which will be a feature of changing displays in the new Beaney Art Museum and Library.

Pushing Print


An open submission exhibition throughout Margate Old Town showcasing prints by local, national and international artists, including a giant print event for everyone to take part in on 9 October and a day of Talks on 16 October.
