June was a busy month for the staff and crew at Bandit Lites in and around Nashville as the company again served as lighting contractor for the two premier live events of the summer — the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and CMA Music Festival — as well as prepping and shipping 12 other new tours in the same week. At Bonnaroo, Hadden Hipsley
of Lambda Productions called on Bandit’s Dizzy Gosnell to supervise the lighting requirements for artists including the Dave
Matthews Band, Kings Of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Jay Z, Norah Jones, John Fogerty, Tori Amos and Jeff Beck. Shown on ABC Television later
this year, the 2010 edition of the CMA Music Festival had lighting designed by Mike Swinford. He asked Bandit to supply a varied rig that included VL 3500 & 3000 Spots, MAC 2000 Washes, Coemar Infinity Spots, Color Blasts, GRNLite 3-54 Battens, Jarag PAR 30s, Syncrolites, VersaTubes and grandMA consoles .
