What are the different types of Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeship (Level 2)* You’ll study for an NVQ Level 2 in your chosen specialist area. You’ll also gain Key Skills qualifications and work towards a Technical Certificate. An Apprenticeship usually takes two years to complete. On completion, there is the opportunity to progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship.
Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)** You’ll work towards an NVQ Level 3 and will be aiming for a technical, supervisory or junior management role. You’ll also work to a higher level of Technical Diploma and Key Skills. The training usually lasts three years. For some, an Advanced Apprenticeship is a stepping stone on to University-level studies.

Free Tuition
You could be entitled to FREE tuition! Depending on your current qualifications you may be entitled to follow a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification for FREE
Don’t have a Full Level 2 but want to enrol on one?
• If you are aged over 19 and you are enrolling on a FULL Level 2 qualification programme you may be entitled to free tuition
• (A FULL Level 2 means five GCSEs at grades A*- C, an NVQ2 or equivalent)
Don’t have a Full Level 3 but want to enrol on one?
• If you are aged over 19 but under 25 at the start of your programme and you are enrolling on a FULL Level 3 qualification you may be entitled to free tuition.
• (A FULL Level 3 means an NVQ3, two or more A Levels or a BTEC National Diploma or equivalent).
