New and exciting learning opportunities for everyone Welcome


Thank you for your interest in the part-time learning opportunities provided by Northampton College, commencing in September 2010. We are delighted this year to welcome you to our brand new facilities at Lower Mounts in Northampton Town Centre which include specialist provision in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. We hope you will take advantage of our state of the art salon facilities and try out our new restaurant!


We offer a broad variety of courses and learning opportunities for you to study. Don’t forget that many of our programmes are available in Northampton and Daventry. We also offer you the opportunity to gain qualifications while you work, and these are assessed in your own workplace so you may not have to attend college at all. You can also study during the day-time, in the evening, as a one-day taster or even on a Saturday. All the courses in this directory are due to start in the period between September 2010 and January 2011. We appreciate that making a commitment to training needs to be planned carefully, so we’ll be pleased to enrol you for the New Year, well in advance, where we are able.


We hope you will explore the full list of courses and take some time to consider the variety of possibilities it contains. We are dedicated to encouraging as many people as possible to continue learning and hope to interest you in joining us.
