The Part Time Learners’ Handbook
This annual publication provides information and advice about the College, its policies, calendar and procedures.
College Membership Cards The College Membership ID Card is proof that you have enrolled as a learner and provides access to College facilities.
You must bring your ID card with you when you attend college and sit any examinations.

New Deal for Lone Parents
If you are an unemployed lone parent you may be eligible for financial support towards your course. Please contact your local area Jobcentre Plus for more information:

NUS Cards
Part-time learners who attend courses of more than 60 hours are entitled to an NUS card. Please contact Learner Support for more information on 01604 734 393.
On site Guidance & Mentoring
Learner Support provides a range of services to learners. This includes guidance on making the right choices for your study, help with CVs and job search, 1:1 mentoring services, advice on coming to college, and help with personal welfare.
Close links are also maintained with a number of external agencies including The Lowdown, Time 2 Talk, Connexions and Next Step. The Learner Support Centres are open each day from 8.45am to 5.15pm.
College Counsellors
The College Counsellors provide a free and confidential counselling service that is available to all learners. Counselling offers you the opportunity to discuss any issues that you may be concerned with and supports you in making your own choices in dealing with your situation.
Off site support for learners
Learner Support provides a range of support services to learners who are unable to access services at our main sites.
