Additional Support
The College is keen to encourage learners with additional needs and disabilities who wish to continue their studies. The Additional Support Team is pleased to offer guidance to learners with:

Disability or Learning Needs
Northampton College is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities or learning difficulties receive appropriate support. All requests for reasonable adjustments to provision will be reviewed to ensure that disabled learners and other disabled people are not disadvantaged. Advocacy Service and Learner Liaison
Learner Support offers an advocacy service to all learners. This allows learners to make sure that their views and opinions are represented fairly and also provides support for learners in any dealings with the College in an official capacity.
Career Education and Guidance

Childcare at Booth Lane
The College provides a full Day Nursery at Booth Lane for children from 2 years old, which is open from 8.45am to 5.15pm (4.15pm on Friday). For further information, please contact the nursery on 01604 734 259.
10 Part-time Learning Childcare at Lower Mounts
A Day Nursery is available at Lower Mounts for children from 2 years old, which is open from 8.45am – 5.15pm (4.15pm Friday). Please contact the Nursery for more information on 01604 736 210.
Childcare at Daventry
The College operates a Day Nursery for children from 3 months old, which is open from 8.45am to 5.00pm (4.30pm Friday). The After School Club also operates in term time (3.00pm – 5.15pm) and runs a collection service from local schools. A holiday play-scheme runs during the school holidays (8.30am – 5.30pm). Childcare Costs
Learners on courses funded by the Learning and Skills Council may be able to access financial support for childcare costs. More information is available from Learner Support on 01604 734 066.
