An Invitation to Join ICLEI —And Roll Up Your Sleeves

KC Boyce Dear Reader,

There’s a reason more than 600 local governments count on ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustain- ability: We empower them to reach their goals and achieve real results. And we help them do it more efficiently because they don’t have to create cli- mate or energy initiatives from scratch or reinvent any wheels. They can access our software, how- to resources and staff expertise, or easily connect with other cities and counties in the ICLEI Network (from Boston to Oklahoma City to Bellingham, WA) to adopt their best practices, share ideas and chal- lenges, or view their policies and resources.

We’ve been performing this work for 20 years, we are the largest organization of our kind, and we continue to raise our game. It’s no wonder that Philanthropedia, a nonprofit mutual fund, ranked us as one of the top five nonprofits working in the field of climate change.
