INTRODUCTION
FMSudafix:ALegacy ofExcellence Welcome to FM Sudafix from the Group Chief Executive
‘‘
When I started FMSudafix in theMidlands of the United Kingdomin the 1990s I had a vision to create the best sector company with the most robust product range, services and support to benefit the marketplace. My main strategy was simple: delight our customers. It seems so obvious, but other companies in our sector seem to forget that the foundation of any successful business is the customers, and that their needs are a manufacturing company’s specification. Cherishing each customer helped FMSudafix enjoy enormous growth and considerable popularity. Such achievements attracted a great deal of attention and envy fromthe competitors of FMSudafix.
Within a short amount of time a large American company approached the FM Sudafix board with an offer that had to be considered. At the time the board of directors felt the integrationwith the larger organizationwould enable our teamto offer even greater levels of customer service on a global scale.
The alliancewas strong and the sphere of operations expanded dramatically. Throughout this time I increased my personal knowledge, and that of the team, of a number of different global markets. It was important to recognise that whilst the products and services for these territories were universal, their requirements and concerns, the challenges they faced and needed to overcome, differed with each customer. Further confirming that customer requirements must always be the focus for all business processes I considered the future.
After a review of performance and lengthy discussions with our area strategists I felt that despite the strength that the alliance had once displayed, itwas time to regain full control of FMSudafix; the customers simply deserved the highest levels of service and I was determined that FMSudafix was best placed to deliver it.
Whilst FMSudafix is a British company its renaissance really began in Dubai 2008. Our presence at a trade show generated a substantial amount of interest as we premiered our product range. As the year progressed our presence and influence spread across the globe. That year generated a number of significant opportunities both in terms of our involvement in noteworthy projects and the chance to upgrade our factors of production for our customers. Whilst we already offered design services for lightning protection and earthing/grounding systemswe decided to expand the scope of the design team and provide the levels of resource commensurate with our ambition.

The investment of resource in our technical department was a prudent and forward thinking measure. FM Sudafix can now undertake designs of any size of project, from a simple hotel structure to a power station or infrastructure scheme in any of the following disciplines: earthing/ grounding, lightning protection, cathodic protection, stray current management or surge protection.
