The United States has the largest Air Force in the world, with over six thousand man- ned aircrafts, and over 350,000 active duty personnel. The primary mission of the United States Air Force is three pronged. The Air Force is designed to fly and fight in air, space, and cyberspace. The United States Air Force remains at the cutting edge of aerospace technology, employing some of the most brilliant minds in the Uni- ted States as developers and designers. While the United States Air Force has a primary focus in the


air and in space, most servicemen and women work on the ground providing support. The United States Air Force employs tens of thousands of ground support workers, with jobs ranging from com- puter specialists or engineers, to aircraft repair and support. The Air Force also has a large concentration of health care workers. Health care workers provide for the medical needs of Air Force person- nel, their families, and other members of the Armed Services. The health care personnel in the United States Air Force also participate in a variety of humanitarian missions across the world, providing medical care and relief to many suffering people.
