sing a RAINBOW

“Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue. I can sing a rainbow. Sing a rainbow. Sing a rainbow too.”

2010 is a remarkable year for LGBT people. Just think about all the positive changes occurring right before

our eyes. The Proposition 8 law will hopefully be revoked in the state of California, more health care laws are in place for the workplace in regards to the right to take care of a loved one in times of need, the ban on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is moving forward. Those are just a few of the major issues at hand that affect all of us on a day-to-day basis. Times are truly changing for the better, baby. I believe the power of positive thinking truly does benefit all of us. In celebration of Pride season, The Rage Monthly is chock full of gay goodies for our July issue. Where to

begin? The Kids Are All Right is a new film that explores two parents and their two kids. The twist? It’s a rare glimpse into a modern family of two lesbian parents and what happens when their kids discover the man who was their moms’ sperm donor. Julianne Moore and Annette Bening star in the film and The Rage Monthly had the privilege of interviewing Moore in person to get to the heart of the film and its beautiful and intel- ligent star. Her thoughtful, articulate and humorous interview is on page 38. When it comes to fashion and modeling, our cover model Ronnie Kroell is truly the go-to gay guy to have. His physique may be outstanding yet so is his intelligence. Feast your eyes and learn a thing or two about Kroell on page 46. Is that laughter I hear? No two people are better at tickling your funny bone than Wanda Sykes (page 34) and Alec Mapa (page 52). Both out comedy performers show us what they got and why they fight and support for LGBT rights. Comedy is a serious business. Lastly, what could be gayer than a classic movie musical? So, as Debbie Reynolds sang in Singin’ in the Rain, “All I do is dream of you the whole night through…” A dream interview for The Rage Monthly is the one-and-only Debbie Reynolds. Her contributions to film, television and theatre through the last 60 years are truly phenomenal. Catch up with a living legend on page 42. As Porky Pig says, “That’s All Folks.” Yet…you are sure to find a few more surprises in our July issue of The

Rage Monthly. I can’t spill the beans on every little thing now. Can I? Much happiness and joy to all during this 2010 Summer of Pride.
