ACTIVISM For those whose inner activist thirsts for strife and defiance, San Diego Pride has
brought back The Rally! This activist component of Pride will kick off the weekend’s activities on Friday, July 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the festival’s location. Featuring inspirational speakers, including parade Grand Marshal Stuart Milk, and fiery equality activist Robin McGehee, awards will be presented to honor individuals and organizations that have made significant, positive impacts on San Diego’s LGBT community.
HEALTH The “Test for Tickets” program is part of the UCSD Early Test Program that encourages
Pride-goers to know their status by offering a free ticket to the festival to participants while supplies last. Unlike the standard HIV antibody test, The HIV Early Test detects HIV infection as early as a week after exposure. Call 619.543.8080 to set up an appointment or go to
