Ethan and Piper Kizziar spend Spring Break 2010 on the slopes in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Annual Spring Ski Trip Tradition Continues

M

AC members and their families shared a fantastic Spring Break trip

to Sun Valley, Idaho. Whether learning their first turns on Dollar Mountain or enjoying Bald Mountain’s challenging terrain, MAC skiers and snowboarders enjoyed Sun Valley’s best. Clear, sunny weather offered spec- tacular views of the nearby Sawtooth Mountains. No lines for the gondola and high-speed lifts offered easy access to world-class terrain and elegant alpine lodges.

Tuesdays through Saturdays, noon-5:30 p.m. Sun Deck Pool

Après ski fun ranged from relaxing and socializing in hot pools to trout fishing in nearby rivers. Many others enjoyed the open-air ice skating, bowling, and the shopping and dining in nearby Ketchum. Another highlight of the week was the NASTAR race. Truly extraordinary was Willy Scroggins, age 48, and his son Tucker, age 9, taking home platinum, an honor above gold, and difficult to earn due to Sun Valley’s rigorous pace setting. Noteworthy as well was Hunter Haslett, age 6, who took home gold; and Lucas Holliday, age 4, who took honors as the youngest racer.
