Elite Dancers Prepare for National Competition

he MAC Elite dancers completed their final annual regional competition at the


Co. Dance Competition in Seattle April 9-11. The judges’ high scores qualified eight choreographed MAC dances to compete in the Co. Dance National Competition in Hollywood, Calif., this summer. Four MAC dancers were awarded


merit-based scholarships for the national competition: Anna Dickson, Sydney Mesher, Natalie Press and Kelly Ramis. Courtney Sprouse and William Worley were also noted as finalists in the scholarship competition. Additionally, Ramis was one of only four regional senior dancers to receive the clear talent group award. Finally, the MAC dancers received two first-place high-score awards for the teen tap trio and the teen group ballet.
