Susan Herrmann Loomis, interna- tionally recognized chef and cookbook author, comes to MAC Wednesday, Aug. 11 to share her love of France, local food, sustainability, and her expertise in French cooking. Loomis shares stories from her kitchen, a cooking demonstration, and her depth of knowledge and apprecia- tion for the rich traditions around food and how it is grown, harvested and prepared. Loomis is the author of seven cook- books; the most recent is Nuts in the Kitchen. She is the founder and owner of On Rue Tatin, a small, personalized cooking school in Normandy and Paris. Loomis is also a founding partner in
