Bringing Local Back! It is great to see yet another new business setting-up-shop in Dereham.
‘In a Pickle’ is just one of the new shops that has opened up in the Dereham town centre this year.
Bucking the trend, the shop is hoping to essentially ‘bring the country into the town’ by selling locally sourced preserves, pickles, oils, flours and gifts amongst many others lines. A large proportion of the stock is ‘home-made’ by small, Norfolk companies who use only fresh, and often local ingredients, to produce some of the tastiest products available on the market today.
Many organic lines are available such as free-range eggs and flours, along with gluten-free selections and olive oils that are infused with delicious herbs and spices in
16 Church Street, Dereham (Between Case & Dewing and the Phoenix Hotel
Norwich. Award-winning fruit juices from local orchards, compliment the range of jams and chutneys that taste even better than they look!
In an effort to keep food miles down and support the local economy, the shop is concentrating on using local suppliers wherever possible and is looking to extend its range even further over the summer months, including some great Norfolk honeys. Call in for a visit - the shop
is just along Church Street and is open Monday to Saturday.
