Welcome to Look Local in July, What a great month it’s been! Village Day was amazing the circus theme really seemed to fire the creative imaginations of so many participants. The parade was spectacular! So bright and colourful, it was a joy to watch. It always brings a tear to my eye – I know, call me sentimental, but it is lovely! See our action packed photo montage on page 6. Thanks to all who contributed to a great day. Adding greatly to the occasion, our village looked spectacular; hanging baskets and patriotic flags line the streets! How lucky are we to live here? Also in this issue, I meet Gill and Phil Hawkins and chat about their impending move to Brazil – hear their inspirational story. I look forward to following their progress over coming months. I was treated to a tailor made ‘Summer Beauty Package’ at Beauty Solaire, and I visited a new ladies business networking group in Dorking.
