BRITISH WATER NETWORKING RECEPTION RECEPTION AT THE HOUSE OF COMMONS

Following on from the success of the reception at Tower Bridge on 10 December 2007, British Water will be hosting its second networking reception at the House of Commons Terrace Pavilion on 20 April 2009.


The reception will be hosted by Paddy Tipping MP, Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group Sewers and Sewerage who will welcome guests with an introductory speech. British

The British Water Pavilion at IWEX is establishing itself as arguably one of the best-looking and certainly one of the busiest at the show. Last year it included space for 14 British Water members, allowing members a unique opportunity to have a high-profile presence at this prestigious event at accessible cost by virtue and shared space. Exhibitors were able to turn up on day one without the hassle of constructing their stand, and leave at the end of the show without worrying about dismantling it.


For the 2009 show, the Pavilion continues to grow, with even more floor area and a private meeting room.


IWEX 2009 is part of SustainabilityLive, at the NEC, Birmingham, 19-21 May 2009.


Water’s Chairman Mike Froud who is Vice President – Food & Beverage, Eimco Water Technologies will highlight some of British Water’s key activities over the past year and be followed by our key-note speaker Professor Cave, OBE, Director, Warwick Business School. Professor Martin Cave will provide an insight into the findings of his review of ‘Competitiveness and Innovation in the Water Market’. His report is expected to be launched in


The reception which is sponsored by British Water members is organised to raise the profile of the UK water industry and facilitate networking amongst members, their clients and key figures in the industry. Guests will include MPs, ambassadors, senior government officials and representatives of the water companies and wider industry.
