The world class technology and high quality products on offer include a full range of equipment for Inlet Screening; Screenings Removal, Washing, Conveying and Compacting; Sludge Screening; Storm Screening; Thickening and De-watering; Sludge Drying, Total Preliminary Treatment; Grit Removal, Washing and Complete Grit Treatment Systems; Enhanced Primary and Final Settlement; Grease and Solids Removal; Tertiary Treatment, and Membrane Technology.
Due to this large and increasing range of equipment, together with its back-up and commitment to the market, Huber has been successful in securing over 20 frameworks for a diverse range of products with the majority of the Water Companies in the UK and Ireland. The expertise of working as a strategic
supplier with these large organisations in the past, on a vast number of projects, has given Huber the experience necessary to tackle multi-site projects with a philosophy of cooperation and understanding.
Huber Technology UK recognised very early on that in order to manage such a large and varied product range and customers, the need to be associated with a recognised trade body within the water and wastewater market was paramount. Huber Technology therefore joined British Water 12 years ago and has had a long and very close relationship since then. The growing and varied membership of British Water has allowed associated companies to network together and share experiences and problems and indeed find solutions. Further positives of
membership includes regular liaison visits between members, end users and regulating authorities, the setting up of working parties to tackle industry wide problems in order to offer positive and constructive solutions back to the market, identification of issues within the industry and then organisation of subsequent conferences to highlight this issue throughout the UK and stimulate discussion and debate.
All in all, membership of trade bodies is assessed on the work they undertake for the membership and the feedback given. To enable this to be achieved, a listening approach and close working relationships are paramount and these are areas in which British Water excels.
