Just outside of Portland, Crystal Clear Technologies is working on something big. Using nanotechnology, they’ve developed a system that allows large industries like coal-fi red power plants to clean and reuse wastewater over and over again. This idea was funded in part by Lottery dollars targeted at research to help grow Oregon business and create a more diverse economy.
