CONSTRUCTION contract consultants Knowles Ltd recently completed a roadshow tour of their popular ‘Factfile’ series in the South West and South Wales regions. Now in its seventh season, this popular series of breakfast briefings has been designed to allow professionals within the construction industry to keep up to date with current developments. Mark Stevenson and Nigel
Foster of Knowles, both experienced practitioners in the quantum and time aspects of construction claims, presented this year’s topic ‘Successful Construction and Deconstruction of Claims’. With a total of 180 delegates attending over three days, clearly this topic - taking in issues relating to claims for payment, additional work, loss and expense, termination, time entitlements and methods of delay analysis, covering the most common standard forms of
