GEAR –Global Education Activity Resource GEAR is a toolkit of global education activities for grades 2-8. This comprehensive resource engages students in global issues and inspires them to be responsible global citizens. Explore issues such as child rights, communities, water, education, HIV and AIDS and peace and conflict. A Hungry World—Understanding the Global Food Crisis This free downloadable study guide for grades 9-12 introduces students to the complex causes and impacts of rising global food prices. It includes background information, engaging lesson activities and black line masters for use in geography, world issues, civics, family studies, economics or humanities.
World Vision Early Readers: Mom and Me, and Getting There Bring the lives of children around the world into primary and junior classes with Mom and Me and Getting There. These hardcover books feature some of the best of World Vision photography. Beautiful photos of the daily lives of children and families in other countries are accompanied by easy-to-read and age- appropriate text.
