Our Resources Global Citizenship in the Classroom
War Child’s Global Citizenship in the Classroomis an education program that assists teachers in bringing critical world issues into their classrooms. At the heart of the program is an effective set of learning resources for teachers and students consisting of four 60-minute teacher-training workshops, a teacher’s toolkit, a 17-minute film on youth activism and a film study guide. Get Loud: Youth Speak Out on Global Issues short film: Suitable for high school and university audiences, the filmfollows a group of young activists as they learn about social justice issues – dispelling the myth of apathetic youth – and inspires students to get involved in creative projects to promote social justice and sustainable change.
