Canadian Physicians for Aid & Relief

Founded in 1984, CANADIAN PHYSICIANS FOR AID AND RELIEF (CPAR) is a non- profit, non-sectarian organization that is inspired by the vision of a healthy planet, where health is broadly defined to include human well being, environmental integrity, and social justice.

Our Mission CPAR works in partnership with vulnerable communities and diverse organizations to overcome poverty and build healthy communities in Africa. To this end, CPAR supports community efforts to ensure access to clean water, adequate food, primary health services and a safe and healthy environment. CPAR projects are designed and implemented by local staff in rural communities of Ethiopia, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda.
