Virtual Art Walk started by Gilbert artist
Within a couple of weeks after photographer George Lenz of Gilbert set up a Facebook page called “Virtual Art Walk,” more than 300 members from all over the globe joined and uploaded some 240 pieces of art work.
“I think this can be an invaluable resource for artists and clients alike,” Lenz says. “Virtual Art Walk is like browsing in a real art walk, only you let your fingers do the walking.”
In the Entertainment & Arts - Fine Arts section, Virtual Art Walk is where artists can join and advertise their sites. Members may invite people to “walk” into the online site to find art they may like to view and purchase.
