Minister: Brazil has to learn from SAfrica WCup by Tales Azzoni
JOHANNESBURG - Brazil is tak- ing a close look at how South Africa is hosting the World Cup so it can deal with the same challenges when it hosts the tournament four years from now.
The main focus has been on trans- portation.
Brazil sports minister Orlando
Silva told The Associated Press on Monday that Brazil needs to pick up the pace in several areas to success- fully host the 2014 tournament. He hoped to gain some useful knowl- edge from the South Africans, say- ing, “the important thing is to learn. We want to study all aspects. We want to know what to avoid so we can guarantee a successful World Cup in Brazil.” AP
