Pelham, owner of A Handy Company, LLC, whose rubber duck crossed the finish line first to award him with the $500 cash prize, which he happily donated right back to the school. Mr. Ouellette and his family were also one of the event’s largest sponsors. The second-place duck winner went to Rosemary Dole, while Pam Santos’ duck earned her third place. Finally, fourth place went to Wendy Wilson’s duck. St. Patrick School parent and director of the fair, Lyn Jedraszak, organized a wonderful event designed to not only bring its school families together, but also members from the surrounding communities. Lyn succeeded at bringing the event to the next level with so many amusements and some great coordination. Lyn and her husband, Mark, already have ideas for next year’s event, including movies for kids the night before.

Erin Spencer, Katie Berrios and Suzanne Shawver with lia sophia jewelry Thank you to all who took your valuable time before and during

the day of the event to help make the races and the fair a success, and for helping St. Patrick School in the process. Your community and school spirit shines brightly. God Bless.

Pelham Good Neighbor Fund Annual Golf Tournament in Memory of Telly Demos

submitted by Frank Sullivan The 17th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, August 9, at the Campbell’s Scottish Highlands Golf Course in Salem for the benefit of the Pelham Good Neighbor Fund, which is celebrating its 41st year. The golf tournament committee decided to honor the memory of Telly Demos, who passed away on December 18, 2009, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Telly was one of our original members of the committee and a major contributor to the success of the golf tournament over the years. He will be missed by everyone for his humor, hard work, and friendship. The Pelham Good Neighbor Fund
