“Thumbs down...Are you kidding me??? Someone was kind enough to remove the rotten mattress from the side of the road in front of your house. Now you have placed a rotted wishing well in its place. It’s wooden - cut it up and have a bonfire. We don’t want to look at it. Prior to the mattress, you had a console television in the same spot. I’d say you just like to have junk by the side of the road. Apparently you have decided that this is fun.”
“Thumbs up – way up! – to
whoever found my iPhone at Stop & Shop and turned it in to the front desk. I would be most lost without that contrivance. Thank you, thank you, Thank You!”
“Thumbs down to the truck
with vanity plate. Get OFF the phone and pay attention! Not only did you sit through a green light, you also almost ran the guy in the other lane off the road! Yes, it was me that flipped you off.”

“Thumbs up to Chief Murray and the Hudson Fire Dept for their terrific support of the Alvirne Boosters and Chaplain’s Military Relief Fund at the 1st annual Heavy for Our Heroes last month. It was a fun and fantastic community event that supported two important causes (Alvirne Athletics and our NH Military families) -- It was great to have HFD and the community backing us. THANK YOU!”

travel soccer team for their 1-1 tie against the girls in the first annual mother/daughter game well- played, Thanks for being good sports!!”
“Thumbs down to our state reps for costing
Litchfield $2 million in school aid. Even if you voted no, you still failed to persuade your fellow representatives which is what you were sent to Concord to do. Come the fall, I’m going to ignore the (R)s and (D)s next to the names and instead look to toss out all the (i)s.”

white cat in the Rocky Hill/ Shirley Way area of Litchfield. This cat comes to my door hungry and often with injuries. If I could pick it up without being bit, I would have already taken it to a shelter. Please care for your cat’s injuries and feed it. How about letting it inside at night, so it won’t keep getting attacked by wild animals?. This cat has used almost all of its 9 lives. Please care for it properly. Cats should not be out at night.”

“Thumbs up, way up to the Litchfield residents
who see a certain SB member for who he is. When he won a raffle at the spaghetti supper there was a universal groan from the crowd. It spoke volumes about how residents feel about him. Of all the raffles that night, every other one was met with cheers for the recipients. His, just a big groan.”

“Thumbs up to HMS teachers, Ms. Scire & Ms. Cuddeback. You were a huge part in getting us through the past two school years. When others gave up you never did! I honestly believe we wouldn’t have made it through the last two school years if it had not been for the both of you. You went above and beyond many times over and for that we will always be thankful. We appreciate
