P RODUCED B Y C INT E RACT IVE Welcome . . . Graham Parker
Welcome to the SCEPTRE Awards 2010, celebrating best practice and best people in the shopping centre industry. This year is the SCEPTRE Awards’ tenth anniversary and the awards have
attracted more entries than ever before. Equally, tonight’s awards dinner has attracted a bigger attendance than ever before. The fact that the awards have attracted such a response despite the harsh economic climate is testament to the quality of people who make up our industry. Maintaining standards when service charges are under pressure
and vacancy rates rising can seem a thankless task. But all across the country centre management teams have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that their centres remain vibrant and attractive. The shortlists underline the sheer strength in depth that the industry now offers, and the winners and runners-up can be justifiably proud of themselves. But reaching the shortlist is itself a major accolade, so congratulations to everyone who is featured this celebratory brochure.
