Annual Blessing of the Bikes
by Robyn Hatch After a huge Texas-style meal, the Annual Blessing of the Bikes took place with a full house of beautiful bikes—most of which were Harley-Davidsons. Even though it was an incredibly hot day, Father Perez from St. Joe’s performed an outstanding ceremony for the Blessing of the Bikes, which took place at the Derry Salem Elks Lodge, 39 Shadow Lake Road, Salem. When the ceremony was over, loud engine roars were heard from all of the bikes.
