Sarah Rastello So many women balance Sarah Rastello
career, community and family, while holding on to the importance of friendships and fun. Few can achieve this as smoothly as Sarah Rastello, Vice President, Retail Banking at Salem Co-operative Bank. Sarah spends her workday overseeing two branch offices
and 25 staff in addition to her various other duties. Because of her strong desire to give back and an innate dedication to her community, Sarah is also a very active volunteer; a practice that is strongly influenced and encouraged by the bank. In addition to her duties at the bank, Sarah is frequently lending a hand to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Salem. With a family touched by cancer, Sarah has a personal affiliation with this
event, where she was the Relay for Life Captain for Salem Co-operative Bank’s team, raising over $8,000, and the heart of the ACS Relay corporate sponsorship campaign, bringing in more than $14k. Sarah also serves on the Board of Directors for the Department of Family and Child Services of Haverhill, MA, and works with the Greater Haverhill Children’s Fund developing resources to raise the quality of life for children in need. Also of note is the work that Sarah has done with the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, developing and implementing Salem Co-operative Bank’s signature event—the Hidden Jewel Awards. This specialized awards program was developed to recognize those women who have made an extraordinary impact on their own communities. Most importantly, Sarah is a dedicated wife and mother of two. She resides with her family in Methuen, MA.
What makes Pamela Riesenberg different from other lenders? When Pamela Riesenberg took on the role of building and managing the new branch of Reliant Mortgage Company, she was glad to be back in the community where she first started in this industry. Pamela began working in finance 20 years ago and then felt there was something missing, so 10 years ago, she moved into the mortgage business. Struggling with corporate mentality and determined to make a difference, she wanted to change the way consumers were educated and guided through the home-buying and refinancing process, so she moved to a company that would allow her to make her own decisions.

was the company for her. They close loans in their own name and have underwriting and processing in-house, which makes costs less and rates very competitive. Pamela has many specialty certificates besides her license in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, which allows her to help customers in their current and future financial endeavors. Her get-it-done attitude and pro-activeness is hard to miss.
Becoming an Affiliate Member of the Granite State South Board of Realtors in 2008 changed how Pamela saw her role in the community. She became a board member of many non-profit organizations, such as the “Dream Factory,” helping to raise money throughout the year for children. Fundraising has become second nature to her, and seeing the support of the community makes it all worthwhile.

Sandra started her vibrant career in the mortgage business in 1984 providing residential mortgages to New Hampshire and Massachusetts residents. Over the years, she has built solid relationships with her borrowers. She has a strong knowledge of financing programs, including FHA/VA,
construction loans, and conventional financing. While the business has changed in so many areas, the lending practices are still the same for her. This dedication has resulted in life-long relationships, consistent referrals, and has helped her to become one of the top loan officers in New
England. Her attention to detail and desire to help her customers is a genuine asset and benefit to any borrower. Sandra is involved in community service throughout New Hampshire. She has been involved in Relay for Life for over five years. Recently, the Salem Lions Club has appointed her Secretary of the Club, and she is a chairperson for the Taste of Salem for the Chamber of Commerce. Community involvement has always been a part of her life. Sandra lives in Salem with her husband, Tom, and
their two boys, Robert and Michael. Chris Bencivenga, owner of Toe, Tap N’ Tights in Salem, has been a successful businesswoman for the past 15 years. Chris began her business in 1995 because her daughter, Corey, had been dancing for years, and she felt that dancewear was overpriced and she could provide dance attire at a more reasonable price. She was determined to start a business from the ground up that would provide the community with reasonably priced merchandise, as well as extraordinary customer service.
Determined to reach her goal, Chris delivered a business with a wide selection and the lowest prices around, which stands to be commended. Through time, effort, networking, marketing,
and support from family, Toe, Tap N’ Tights has flourished into a thriving company. Chris has become an inspiration to those with aspirations of one day opening up a business of their own. Currently located at 5 Kelly Road in Salem, Toe,
Tap N’ Tights offers a full line of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Hip Hop, and Ballroom shoes, along with tights, leotards, and a full array of other dance clothing and accessories. They carry such brands as Capezio, Bloch, Bodywrappers, Motionwear, and many more. In addition to dancewear, they also carry supplies for Gymnastics, Cheerleading, and Ice Skating, all of which can be accessed via their Website at
