RANDALL E. HOWARD WELCOME FROM GENERAL OVERSEER Clearly,
God’s last days are upon us.
Welcome to every delegate and friend that has joined us for the 2010 International Assembly of the Church of God of Prophecy. I am expectant as I anticipate enjoying this Assembly through the focus of our theme, “Pursuing His Spirit.” Most people know that we are living in the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit that the world has ever known. God has chosen this day to visit every continent with new fillings of His Upper Room Pentecostal fire. It is my prayer and expectation that in this Assembly, we will also be renewed, revived, and refilled with this fire as well.
I am especially excited as I think about key moments on the program this Assembly:

• Saturday’s Global Outreach Banquet aimed at “Pursuing
His Spirit in Holiness”

• Thursday evening as we “Pursue His Spirit in Global Outreach”
• Tuesday morning as we “Pursue His Spirit in Vision”
Around the World”
• Saturday afternoon when we “Pursue His Spirit in Miraculous
• Each morning as we “Pursue His Spirit in Prayer”
Healing Power”
• Each evening as we “Pursue His Spirit in Harvest, Prayer, and
Leadership”
These key moments are only a few of the opportunities we have during this Assembly to experience a fresh encounter with God’s gift to His Church— the Spirit of God. Remember that God used Peter to declare, “In the last days . . . I will pour out my Spirit . . .” (Acts 2:17). It has been my observation that whatever God has for His people, this Church stands ready to seek and receive so that we may spread His Gospel more powerfully. Clearly, God’s last days are upon us. Clearly, God is pouring out His Spirit. So let this International Assembly sound the clarion call that we of the Church of God of Prophecy will devote ourselves to “Pursuing His Spirit!”
