This year marks a milestone for Minoli Tiles, as the company celebrates its 50th


When originally founded in London in the late 1940’, they actually manufactured and installed terrazzo before relocating to build a factory in Oxford in the late 1950s. The firm’s incorporation in 1960 saw them branch out into supplying English and Italian ceramic tiles and mosaics, alongside the manufacturing operation.


Now headquartered in a purpose-built showroom and distribution centre, the company works with the leading tile producers from Italy and all over the world. The buying team are actively involved in the design and selection process and source collections in ceramic, porcelain and glass, many of which are exclusive.


Minoli supplies a broad range of clients with differing needs across a range of sectors including retail, automotive and leisure, but their specialism has always been in supporting house builders and developers. So with over half a century of experience and a deserved reputation for service excellence, what can corporate clients expect from Minoli today?

Managing Director Jonathon Minoli said, “We’re proud of our heritage and achievements of the last 50 years. The company has stood the test of time but we’re not prepared to stand still. Recognising the changing needs of our clients we strive to both innovate and simply get the important basics right”.


And the celebrations don’t stop there, as Minoli has been awarded the prestigious TTA award for Excellence in Tile Industry Marketing at the Association’s 10th anniversary ceremony.


The judging panel presented the accolade to Minoli for their ongoing marketing activities which have enabled the company to completely reposition itself. The five year


strategy has included a new brand identity and visual language, in addition to direct marketing, PR, literature and advertising. With a record number of nominees across the twenty-one categories, the competition was hard fought but, in spite of this, Minoli also gained recognition as a finalist in the Excellence in Tile Distribution category.
