SENSEI RICK BROWN (back row, centre) of South Hills Judo Club and Allegheny Youth Development teaches judo in a school-based programme in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. More than 30 boys participated this year, and another 40 are registered for summer classes.

JUDOKA AT NORTHGLENN JUDO CLUB just north of Denver, Colorado were honoured recently by the visit of In-Chul Cho, the two-time World Champion and two-time Olympic medalist from Korea. Sensei Cho spent the majority of his time with sensei Hideki Hayashi’s junior level judoka showing them foot techniques (ashi-waza). All of the judoka were


completely excited by having such a famous person teaching them. Sensei Cho was both very humble and very patient as he directed the class. The instructors at Northglenn Judo Club wish to thank In-Chul Cho for taking the time out of his busy schedule to visit us. We all look forward to his next visit.
