AT THE 2010 SUSSEX COUNTY TRIALS, MSMAS judoka won 14 medals with eight of the squad becoming Sussex County Champions!
Coach Roger Payne said, “To attend this event with so many novice judoka and to come away with such a superb result was a tremendous result for the Dojo!”
Well done to all who took part!
Slupko and Vlad Budnikov all took bronze medals in their debut event. Richard Vanukevich at u31, had a very competitive category but came fi rst, to prove he has both power and technique (see insert of Richard’s harai-goshi!). Artem Saldatenko surprised everybody with a very unusual technique and brought home another bronze medal.
