To help all the children and families who need the hospice.

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for Sussex and cares for over 200 children with life-limiting or life- threatening illnesses. But for every child we are currently caring for, there is another child in Sussex we are not yet reaching due to lack of funding. It costs over £2 million each year to provide this care, yet less than 10% of our funding comes from the government, and families are never charged for care.
We are asking the people of Sussex to take Chestnut’s Challenge and pledge their help, so that our Care Team can reach out to all the families in Sussex who so desperately need the care Chestnut Tree House can provide.

Thank you! Your support makes a real difference to children and their families when they need it most.
Ariel Drama Academy is an independent Drama Academy for students aged 5 to 19, dedicated to training young actors in the core fundamental skills required to become an actor. We strive to create a centre of excel- lence in each of our core disciplines, whilst always maintaining a key sense of fun through learning and a genuine passion for our pupils to
thrive. We offer a broad curriculum on the three core areas: Drama, Dance and Singing. LAMDA tuition is included at no extra cost.
Due to the high demand and the long waiting list at our other Schools, we are branching into Crawley, which seemed a natural progression as our home to perform is the Hawth Theatre, having many hits under our belt
such as the ‘Return to the Forbidden Planet’, ‘Tommy’, ‘RENT’, ‘ART’ and our ‘Musicality’ saga's to name but a few. The Crawley School opens on 18th September.
Nigel Harman, star of EastEnders andWest End star of ‘Three days of
Rain’ and the TV hit ‘Hotel Babylon’ is the Company’s Patron. “The stan- dard of theatrical training is second to none, and I am honoured to be
Ariel’s Patron. The School sets a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication,” says Nigel.
Students from our Academy have received a top National lifetime honour for outstanding and selfless contribution to their communities through our work with students with special needs and we hold the ‘Lady Diana Award for Excellence’ and are recognised in the industry for our work in this area.
The Academy has a strong and successful young Actors section and if you are looking for a name that encapsulates all the things we do – top theatre productions while providing top theatrical training – ‘Ariel’ is the name that springs to mind!We have been producing shows to enhance awareness through Drama, Music and Media since we started in 1994.
