Big Green Box Week: 12-19th June 2010

How will you take part?

Big Green Box Week is ShelterBox’s annual fundraising and awareness week. There are countless ways Scout groups can get involved, whether it’s by impressing your family and friends with a talent competition or by holding a sponsored camp out.

Build a Shelter

Competition

Big Green Box Week will once again see Scouts from across the UK create weird and wacky shelters and cram a crazy amount of people into tents. For the second year, we’re holding our shelter competition – except this time it’s just for Scouts!

Spend 24 hours with Bear Grylls

Chief Scout Bear Grylls is holding a 24-hour survival camp on his island in Wales and the selection process for finding eight Scouts to accompany him is now in full swing.

“Eight Scouts who have proven themselves by gaining the Chief Scout’s Gold Award by 31st July 2010 will join me for the wilderness camp. We’ll get to have a wild adventure, and loads of fun.”
