“We are always delighted to be able to support our local scout groups as they do so much good work offering young people a challenging and rewarding way to spend their time.” Southern Water takes its community work very seriously. As well as running its community volunteering programme, it also holds regular fundraising events to support charities. Last year the company presented its seven chosen charities, which included Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice and the Sussex Community Foundation, £10,000 each raised at its annual race day.
