The CHS band, under the direction of Phil Martin,

played British Eighth and the Liberty Bell before playing a medley that included all of the songs of the armed forces. Parent invited members of each force to stand during their song. After Reverend Quinlan gave the Benediction, wreaths were laid in honor of those who had served. Jack Algeo, Army, and Paul Allard, Air Force, laid the wreath on the Merrimack River in memory of those lost at sea. This was the first time in 15 years that Jewett did not lead this ceremony.

Lascelles laid the wreath at the historical society building in honor of those who served in World War I. Robert Leary and Kelly Frazer, both Army, laid the wreath at the library in honor of those who served in World War I and World War II. The Boy Scouts assisted with the wreath laying. The Girl Scouts placed flags at the Church Graveyard. EchoTaps played during the wreath laying, and there were many eyes that were brightened with tears during the EchoTaps. After the

ceremony, everyone was invited to view the exhibits at the historical society.
