PROFILE - Cliff Bridges

Cliff left school after GCSEs and tried Motor Vehicle studies at college, but felt it wasn’t right for him. He was a taxi driver for 10 years but wanted to do something more creative. Advice and Guidance staff at Swindon College suggested an Access to HE course to prepare for study and to see which subject would interest him. Access to Art and Design offers ceramics, textiles, graphics, printmaking, life drawing and photography, which was the subject Cliff finally chose. The HND course offered Cliff the local study option he was looking for.

I hope to be able to carry on to degree level and maybe even teach in the future, as well as work freelance.
