6. Multnomah Athletic Club Executive Chef Philippe Boulot and Yakama Nation Tribal Fisher Randy Settler display the ceremonial chinook salmon presented to Multnomah Athletic Club April 30. The ceremony was the fi rst ever for the club. Many representatives from the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission and members of the Board of Trustees, including club President Phil Juckeland, were on hand for the ceremony. The chinook was prepared and served as part of the main course at MAC’s fi rst Supper Club event April 30. 7. MAC’s annual Scholar Athlete Awards Banquet honors 27 Portland-area high school sophomores for outstanding achievement in combined athletics and academics. Recipients receive a two-year membership to the club and a $1,500 scholarship upon graduation applicable toward college or a full MAC membership.
