GasTown Riot!
GasTown Riot! is a six-piece acoustic gang of musicians who want to instill the New Orleans mardi- gras sound into the Gas City! The music is hard rolling dixieland (traditional jazz) mixed with swampy mardi-gras marches. The band intentionally uses no amplification or electronic instruments as they want to keep the sound true to this form of "roots music".
Members of the band include: • Cam "leather lips" Lockerbie (trumpet) • "doc" Al Gray (clarinet) • Bruce "ever-ready" Evens (trombone) • Mike "the pillar" Steiner (sousaphone) • "billie" Bob Cote (tenor banjo) • Mark "baby-face" Steiner (cocktail drum kit)
