2pm SPONSORED FIRKIN PUSH AROUND THE VILLAGE!

Stopping off at local hostelries along the way to enjoy a quick slurp, then back to the

Royal Oak assault course and onto the bar to breach and pour a pint!

3pm HOG ROAST (50p from each roll sold going to our chosen charity, see

below)

4pm THE ROYAL OAK’S 4TH ANNUAL DWILE FLONKING TOURNAMENT!

Two teams of six – one being Flonkers, the other being Dwiles. Circles are

formed, buckets of water and buckets of beer, a tea towel and a 2 foot Dwile Stick and off they go! Dancing and flicking and drinking! Sounds like fun to me! I think you need to be there to fully grasp this weird and wonderful tradition!

mate. If that wasn’t enough to cope with in life, when Oliver was only three years old, he was diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia Cerabral Palsy. He has to undergo twice daily physiotherapy sessions and frequent hydrotherapy sessions, as well as regular courses of Botox injections in his legs to aid his walking. Due to his condition, he struggles to walk and trips over frequently, which as you can imagine isn’t much fun for a six year old boy! Oliver’s parents have recently become aware of a procedure

available in America called Selective Dorsals Rhizotomy (SDR) which has actually been practised in the US for the past 28 years. It has an amazing success rate, with 100% of patients
