When England kick off their World Cup campaign
against the USA on the 12th of June, one Welsh footballer might be excused for thinking, “It could have been me”. For Boaz Myhill, the current Wales and Hull City goalkeeper, is qualified to stand between the sticks at either end of the Rustenburg pitch.
Myhill was born to a Welsh mother in California
and was just a year old when his family moved to the UK, hence his triple qualification. He has played seven times for Wales and has no regrets about his choice of international countries.
