Welcome to the third edition of School Management Today magazine, a free resource for

Headteachers, bursars and other school leaders involved in the difficult business of running and managing a school.

At the time of going to press the country is facing uncertain times as the politicians battle to find a suitable solution to the first hung parliament in over 30 years. Whatever coalition of parties is finally decided upon we are all going to witness some interesting political times over the coming months.

In this edition we have focused on more certain issues, including Safer School Partnerships and the issues faced by young carers, whilst still containing information on resources and funding streams.
