Withwesternwear, plenty of yee-haws and evenmore pancakes,Whoop-UpDays annually brings southern Alberta together in a celebration of ourwestern heritage.
Scheduled for Aug. 24-28,Whoop-UpDays offers
something for every ages and interest. The festival kicks off Aug. 24 at 10 a.m.with the parade,whichwinds through downtown Lethbridge. Following that, visitors can enter the grounds and Exhibition Park, located just east ofHenderson Lake, to take in live entertainment, a handicrafts display, mini chuckwagon races, amidway andmuchmore. The CPRA and PRCA rodeo runs fromAug. 26-28 at 7 p.m. nightlywhile themidway is open fromnoon untilmidnight
daily. Businesses and organizations around town also get on board, hosting numerous pancake breakfasts and barbecue lunches throughout theweek. For admission rates and a schedule of community breakfasts and entertainment, visit

Located 17 kilometres northwest of Lethbridge onHighway 25, this park provides an oasis of fun forwater skiers,wind surfers, anglers, swimmers and plenty of openwater for canoes
and other small boats. The area haswalking paths, a playground, canoe and bicycle rentals, a boat launch, a concession and lots of picnicking and camping spots.
