Roll into the largest collection of horse-drawn vehicles inNorth America, the Remington CarriageMuseum,wheremore than 250 carriages,wagons and sleighs are on display.
Located on Cardston’sMain Street, southwest of
Lethbridge, themuseumfeatures amultimedia presentation called “TheWheels of Change,”which introduces visitors to the history of the horse-drawn
carriage and other vehicles. After perusing the vehicles themselves, tourists can also visit the facility’s tack room, workshop, stable coach house and corrals. The 63,000-square-foot complex is open daily year-
round but in July and August daily from9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Aug. 20 and 21, themuseumwill host theMiniature
Horse Chuckwagon Championships, featuring chuckwagons approximately one-half the size of those on the professional circuit. Admission rates and other information can be found at
